Board Chair

Former CEO of LATAM Brasil, Claudia currently serves on the boards of global companies, including Ambev, Gerdau, and Vivo. She holds an engineering degree from USP and an MBA from Harvard Business School, with expertise in leadership, strategy, and organizational transformation.

André Barrence

Board Member

Former Head of Google for Startups in Latin America, André founded Brazil’s Black Founders Fund. He holds a degree from MIT and works on business growth and public policy, focusing on technology, artificial intelligence, and racial equity.

Erica Butow

Co-Founder of Ensina and Board Member

Co-founder and board member of Ensina Brasil, Erica led the organization for nine years, helping build a network of more than 1,300 leaders committed to public education. She holds a degree from USP and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. With experience in major companies, she is dedicated to advancing educational equity.

Paulo Veras

Board of Directors

Co-founder of 99, one of Brazil’s pioneering urban mobility companies, Paulo serves on the boards of Itaú, Localiza, and Grupo Boticário. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and works as an investor and education advocate, bringing together innovation, entrepreneurship, and impact investment to drive change in Brazil.

Olavo Nogueira

Board Member

Executive Director of Todos Pela Educação, Olavo holds a master’s degree from FGV-SP and was a finalist for the 2023 Jabuti Prize. He specializes in public management and education policy, working to shape and implement high-impact education reforms in Brazil.

Susanna Lemann

Board Member

A leading voice in strategic philanthropy in Brazil, Susanna works to strengthen the nonprofit sector and support initiatives that drive systemic change. Her work focuses on advancing equity and transforming public education in Brazil.
